CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
Belaire Place is a great place to come and unwind and enjoy our location here in Caloundra. When booking with us you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. This also extends to any person occupying or visiting the apartment or complex and / or using the facilities in the complex at the invitation of or with the authority of the guest. We have the following conditions for your safety and comfort as well as our other guests. Please read them carefully.
1. PAYMENT:
• A deposit of $200 is required to secure reservations outside of 15 days prior to your check in date.
• The balance of your payment will be required 14 days prior to your check in date.
• Full payment is due upon making a reservation 14 days or less from check in date.
• PLEASE NOTE: All card payments will incur a surcharge.
2. CHECK IN/CHECK OUT TIMES:
• Check in is 2:00PM
• Check out 10AM
• Late check out fees apply as follows:
1. $25 will be incurred between 10am to 10:30am,
2. $50 after 10:31am-11am;
3. An additional daily fee will be charged after 11am;
There are guest wanting to check into the room at 2pm, we only have a short window of time to prepare the room. Please respect us and the next guest by checking out on or before checkout time, Occupancy starts and finishes on the dates shown on the receipt or confirmation letter.
3. ADDITIONAL CLEANING CHARGES
Your reservation charges include a standard exit clean. This does not include the removal of rubbish and or doing the dishes. Garbage bins are provided next to the lift in the basement for your convenience. If additional cleaning services are required outside of an exit clean you will be charged on an hourly rate as follows:
• $55/hr weekdays and non-public holidays.
• $75/hr weekends and non-public holidays.
• $110/hr for all public holidays.
• Carpet cleaning: $199
4. CALL OUT FEE - AFTER HOURS
Neither the Body Corporate, the Manager, nor the apartment owner is liable for any damage or loss of property which a guest may sustain whilst at the complex. The by-laws, rules and regulations of the complex and any reasonable direction of the Manager must be complied with. The apartment must be vacated if after a warning the guest fails to comply. Abusive or threatening behavior will not be tolerated, and the guest will be immediately evicted. Please note Belaire Place operates a strict “no noise, no party” policy. Noise must be kept to a minimum after 9pm. Failure to comply will incur a non-emergency callout fee of $80.00. Please also note all non-emergency call outs, out of office hours (5pm to 8am), will incur an $80.00 call out fee.
5. ADDITIONAL GUESTS & VISITORS
Additional guests, including infants and children form part of the cost of your reservation. In the event you have not advised and or included additional guests on your reservation we will deduct these charges as follows:
• $40 per additional guest per night.
ALL visitors to report to reception before entering the building. All guests and visitors must comply to our property rules and bi-laws (available on request or at reception). Guests are reminded that they are responsible for their children and visitors observance of the park rules. Guests must only park cars in the designated area – strictly one car space per apartment.
6. INTOXICATION / UNLAWFUL ACTS:
Excessive use of alcohol is an unacceptable condition of stay. Violence, use of illegal drugs, theft, vandalism and abuse (physical or verbal) will NOT be tolerated. Please understand it will be our duty to notify the police and will result in the termination of your stay. No refunds will be provided. Additional charges will apply to remedy your room or manage eviction
The Manager may inspect the apartment at any time with reasonable notice and at any time without notice if the Manager is of the opinion that there has been a breach of these conditions.
7. NOISE:
• Low noise period is from 8pm until 7am.
• Undue noise and inconsiderate behaviour in any form is NOT permitted.
Abusive language and excessive noise will NOT be tolerated at any time.
8. SMOKE ALARMS
Belaire Place is monitored by the Queensland Fire Services. Each room is equipped with:
• Smoke alarm in the bedroom.
• Thermal sensor in the living area.
As a motel Belaire Place rooms are equipped with a small kitchen. To reduce the risk of causing a fire alarm event we ask that you close the bedroom door, open the balcony door and DO NOT cause excessive smoke at any stage.
At no stage are the use of incense, candles, cooking with portable bbq’s on our balconies and or any other naked flames within Belaire Place.
Each room is monitored 24/7, and if triggered the Queensland Fire Brigade will attend site, regardless of if this is a false alarm. As such if your room as a result of not following our above direction is the cause of a false alarm you will be charged the call out fee from the Queensland Fire Services. This fee is $1850.
9. E-MOBILITY, BIKES & TOYS
Our guests love riding their bikes, or e-scooters along the coastal pathway. Belaire Place is also a great place to go for a surf and or spend the day at the beach. To help maintain our property and the safety of our guests we do not permit the storage of E-Mobility devices, Bikes, Surfboards, Kayaks, Beach Trolleys, or large toys in our apartments, reception, lift and or common area’s. Storage of any of the above is to be in our secured carpark area only, you can access this via the pedestrian gate and or vehicle gate located at the bottom our our driveway.
10. SMOKING
Smoking – (The Smoke Free Act 2000) – Smoking and or vaping is prohibited in apartments (inclusive of the balcony), our building and communal areas. A $50 fee per offence will be applied to your credit card with failure to comply with this NON SMOKING POLICY.
11. PETS
Only Pets with certificates that comply with the Guide, Hearing and Assistance Dogs Act 2009 are permitted to stay. Approval of stays and certificates must be provided prior to the check in date of the reservation.
12. CARD CHARGE/S
The guest authorises the Manager to charge any credit/debit card for any loss, damage or monetary contribution for which any guest is liable under this document or otherwise. If the occupancy ends or is terminated, the guest must immediately vacate the apartment. The Manager is authorised to do whatever is required to enforce the eviction of any guest and removal of guest’s property. There is no refund for early departure and the Manager has the right to refuse future bookings.
13. ROOM CONDITIONS
All of our promotional discounts and or offers are based on a 2 guest stay. Discounts do not apply to additional guests or any other extra's required. Please refer to the promotion as to which room type, reservation deadlines and travel dates. All promotions and discounts are not to be used in conjunction and or apply to existing reservations.
All efforts will be made by management to place guests in the requested room category. Where circumstances beyond our control prevent this, an alternative room category will be allocated.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We do understand that sometimes things change, and cancellations are unavoidable. For our valued direct bookings we offer the following if your cancellation falls within the non cancellable period:
1. Guest replacement - You can gift your reservation to a family member and or friend. We will require their details prior to check in.
2. Park and refill - We will park your reservation and re-sell the dates of your reservation. Once your reservation period is completed one of our friendly team members will be in touch.
In most cases we are able to provide guests with deferred stay options and or partial or full refund.
